Ladies and Gentlemen Today we would like to inform you about the sport of pickleball and encourage you to include it in your club.

Pickleball is a mixture of tennis, badminton and table tennis and is played on a smaller court than tennis. It is played with a paddle and a plastic ball that is constructed similarly to a Wiffle ball. The sport is particularly suitable for older people as it is less strenuous than other ball sports, but still offers plenty of exercise and fun.

Pickleball has become very popular in the USA in recent years and the number of players in Europe is also steadily increasing. There are already numerous clubs that offer pickleball and championships are also held regularly at an international level.

We therefore recommend that all clubs include pickleball in their program in order to encourage older or less athletic people to take up club sports. Purchasing pickleball equipment is relatively inexpensive and only a few markings on the tennis court are required to adapt the playing field for pickleball.

We are looking forward to a growing number of pickleball players in Germany and hope that your club will also include this exciting sport in its program.

Please feel free to contact us for further information.

With sporting greetings,

Organize taster courses

To promote a pickleball taster class, you can follow these steps:

Define your target group: Determine your target group. For example, do you want to address beginners or advanced users?

Determine the location and time: Determine the location and time of the taster course. Make sure the location is easily accessible and the time is convenient for the participants.

Create promotional materials: Create promotional materials such as flyers, posters, email or social media announcements to promote the taster course. Make sure these materials are attractively designed and informative.

Targeted advertising : Place targeted advertising on social media or other online channels to reach your target group. Use hashtags such as #Pickleball, #TasterCourse, #SportsEnthusiast

Use word of mouth: Use word of mouth to generate interest in your course. Talk to friends, family and acquaintances and ask them to recommend the taster course.

Find partners: Cooperate with local sports clubs or sports shops and offer the trial course together. Other partners, such as fitness studios or health centers, can also be included.

Simplify the registration process: Make sure that the registration process for the trial course is simple and straightforward. For example, use online registration forms or a registration form on your website.
