Our mission
The German Pickleball Federation (DPB) was founded on 15 January 2017 in Gelsenkirchen — with a clear mission: to develop Pickleball in Germany sustainably and in a structured manner.
As a registered non-profit association (VR 2360, Gelsenkirchen District Court), the DPB is the overarching national organisation that coordinates all activities in German Pickleball.
Non-profit status
The DPB e.V. is recognised as a non-profit association and pursues exclusively charitable purposes within the meaning of the German Tax Code. All funds are used for the association\\\'s purpose.
Member of both world federations
The DPB was also one of the founding members of the European Pickleball Federation (EPF) — as one of the first national federations in Europe to help build the continental structure.

Building structures
The DPB creates and maintains the structural foundations for Pickleball in Germany — from founding clubs to the national tournament series.
Coach training
Over 200 trained coaches since 2017. The DPB Coach C Training is officially recognised in three federal states.
Rulebook
The DPB is the authorised translator of the GPF rulebook into German — as the first national federation in Germany.
Tournament organisation
Coordination of the national tournament series and the German Pickleball Championships. Tournament Director: Andreas Kopkau.
Digital ecosystem
Closely linked to the Pickleball Platform — the leading digital hub for Pickleball in Europe.
International networking
Member of GPF and WPF. Founding member of the EPF. The DPB brings Germany into the international Pickleball community.
