The sport conquering Germany

Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing racket sports in Europe — and Germany is right in the middle of it. What started in 2017 with a handful of enthusiastic players is now a vibrant nationwide community with over 150 active clubs.

The German Pickleball Federation (DPB e.V.) is the central organisation that made this growth possible. From founding the first club structures to building a professional coaching system and national championships.

Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Played on a smaller court, it makes facilities optimally usable. The sport is easy to learn, physically demanding and creates strong social connections.
